Wishing you a very warm welcome to King's K9 where we offer canine rehabilitation and massage, one-to-one dog training, behaviour consultations and Puppy School classes, covering Bath, Frome, Bradford-on-Avon and all of Wiltshire and Somerset.  Based in Dilton Marsh, near Westbury, Nicky has been working and training dogs for 25 years, and has experience of all breeds and sizes of dog.  Particular specialities include post-operative rehabilitation programmes, degenerative diseases, working with German Shepherds, multi-dog households and training puppies.  With over 20 puppies trained up herself, plus countless others trained with and on behalf of others, there is not a lot left that she does not know about nuturing a balanced, healthy, well-behaved, well-socialised and nicely mannered puppy.  Nicky enjoys problem-solving in an understanding and non-judgemental way, using practical and flexible dog training skills that are tailored to your needs.  She thoroughly enjoys transforming the relationship between you and your dog, opening up communication channels and ensuring your are on each others' wavelength to improve and enhance your time together.

Musculoskeletal therapy includes canine physical therapy to help post surgery, sports and competition dogs, elderly and arthritic dogs, injury prevention and treatment and neurological rehabilitation.  Sessions involve an initial examination followed by appropriate physiotherapy to ease and help your dog.

Nicky was hand-picked by Sarah Whitehead of the Clever Dog Company, one of the UK's leading dog trainers and behaviourists, to train as a Method Licence Dog Trainer.  In addition, Nicky is a member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers. It may be that you wish to tighten up one or two behaviours, improve some minor issues, and make your family or home life that little bit easier: we can help with our top up sessions.

Nicky runs Puppy School classes as a fully qualified Tutor for the wonderful Gwen Bailey. Classes are for all vaccinated puppies up to the age of 20 weeks old, and form a six week course to help your puppy to learn sit, down, stand, settle, focus, come when called, loose lead walking, good manners, socialisation and meeting and greeting strangers.  At the end of the six week course, you will receive a Puppy School Certificate.  Classes are on a Tuesday evening at Winsley Village Hall, BA15 2LU.  More information about the Puppy School training and socialisation can be found here www.puppyschool.co.uk.
